Miss Berkshire Finals - 11th May 2009

We enjoyed the Finals very much. All candidates looked beautiful – glowing, confident and so graceful
on the stage. I was very proud as I got to know them by now. For me there were ten winners on the
stage!

Difficult decision to make. Eddie Pearce, Miss England Laura Coleman, Nancy Matthews, John Pullin, Alan
Porton and myself were deliberating to the last minute.

Mapis Modelling was a sponsor of two races on the day.

Maggie together with Luke, one of our models, was giving the prize to the owners of the winning horses.

Together with Miss England 2008 Laura Coleman, Miss South Yorkshire Jaime Lee- Faulkner and
Serine from Serine’s Corsets.

The winner was crowned – Pia Nippard new Miss Berkshire 2009

Mapis and Serine’s Corsets will work together on the design for Pia’s evening gown to wear on the Miss
England Finals. Serine in the past has made the gown for Miss England 2002. Mapis will also add final
touches to Pia’s modelling skills.

Well done, Ladies! Welcome on board!

Rehearsal before Finals. It was a hard work, but girls enjoyed it

MISS BERKSHIRE 2009 - Managing Director of Mapis Modelling Academy was asked to be a part of
the Judging Panel in Miss Berkshire 2009 contest.

The elimination process took place on Saturday the 4th of April 2009 in Royal Windsor Racecourse.

Maggie Sikora, the Managing Director of Mapis Modelling Academy together with Matthew Foxton-Duffy,
Sales and Marketing Manager of Royal Windsor Racecourse interviewing candidates for Miss
Berkshire Finals.

Our aim was to find candidates who are versatile-good look should be accompanied by great
personality and charm. I’m glad we achieved it.

By the end of the photo session all girls were much more confident and behaving more
like professional models.
